Our founder inspires pupils of Cardinal School

Project Harar loves to engage children in the UK with our work so that they can learn more about the challenges faced by Ethiopian children with facial disfigurements. Our founder, Jonathan Crown recently visited Cardinal Langley School in Middleton, Rochdale.

Jonathan spoke to 200 year 8 pupils and their teachers about our work with cleft patients and people with severe facial disfigurements in Ethiopia - the children were really fascinated. Jonathan pointed out how Project Harar's mission aligned with the school's - giving everybody the opportunity to achieve the very best that they can in life.

After the talk, the pupils of the school were inspired to start raising funds for our work. Project Harar would like to thank Liz Skilling and Angela Williams the Deputy Head for arranging a wonderful morning.
