William Skidelsky

William has written a critically acclaimed memoir published by Penguin Random House, about being an obsessive fan of Roger Federer’s, and the evolution of modern tennis.

William also contributes to book reviews, features and essays to a range of market-leading publications, including The Guardian, The Observer, The Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Week Magazine, Prospect Magazine and The London Review of Books.

8 and a half years ago his son Hugo was born with a cleft lip and palate. This has made William passionate about raising awareness against cleft stigma.

In 2015 Will travelled to The Jubilee Missionary Hospital in the city of Thrissur, Kerala, India with Smile Train and saw first hand, the importance of cleft NGO’s in poor areas of developing countries.
